Banned Booty-Palm Springs Checkpoint by artist Steve Maloney is an engaging sculptural traveling art exhibit.
It is the latest from Maloney’s Banned Booty series from goods confiscated by the TSA post 911 from air-passenger’s carry-on luggage at 8 California Airports. The expansive piece is housed in a shipping container featuring works from the series while doubling as a canvas for a retro-style illustration of air passengers on the tarmac ready to board.
The inaugural exhibition opened at The Palm Springs Air Museum 2012.
