Traveling frequently to Europe in particular Spain, Italy and France sparked Steve's inspiration for his "Festival de la Imaginatiόn" series.
His colors are exquisitely blended with enough swirls and whirls to make some of them look like polished jeweled stones. With his unique hand blended colorful resin medium, he has achieved all kinds of luminous surface effects from various shades of Caribbean blue, to sunlit yellow, to ruby red.
While one can definitely enjoy the sophistication, depth and artistic strength of his work, the images, and the colorful abstractions will undoubtedly appeal to the young as well as the young at heart
